Day 24 – Something that makes you cry
seeing Frida Kahlo paintings in person.crying, loudly in front of a room of people. everyone stared but they somehow how understood. i guess the best place to cry is at an art gallery. i could not contain myself and i did not want to. a lady said, “and that itself is art” and i knew it was. that is why i cried freely. it was exactly what Frida would have wanted. i felt her emotions greatly, they filled me and overwhelmed me and it was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life other than a time when i laid in a bed with someone and cried myself to sleep on them. funny, how the most beautiful parts of your life are when you are crying. birth, even death is sometimes done with a tear rolling down your cheek.
