Art history, puns AND 80s/90s anime?! I didn’t know I could combine so many things I love into one picture!
Not Sailormoon related, but it’s still anime from the same era. I’m a comic illustrator for the school paper, so priorities ARE priorities. I’ll get back to the demanded work after this (if my editor is alright with this format for the comic page, that is…. Hrgh).
Also- this is Frieza circa Planet Namek, thus the strange sky/foliage/Namekian dragon in the background. It is also based off a hodgepodge of Frida Kahlo portraits. Extra credit if you know which ones~
